The opening lines of the album are enough to turn your head but what follows will keep your attention fully on the first-class musicality and rich full sounding production that showcases it so well.
You get the whole nine yards here from the soulful bluesy vibe of the likes of Otis Redding right through to Classic Rock tracks that remind you of the likes of The Eagles with big anthemic sing-along choruses that will have you up on your feet dancing in no time. Harmonizing guitar work and vocals just sweep you up in a wave of emotion that the deep-rooted emotive song-writing pulls out of you track by track. Tracks like ‘Can’t Stand It’ and ‘Tired Of Drinking Alone’ resonate from the off. There is this all-encompassing sound that surrounds you, from the horn section to the strings section that just makes the songs larger than life, easy on the ear vocals with sublime melodies that push and pull at your heartstrings and a swagger that Robert Jon & The Wreck throw out Los effortlessly like a pitcher at a ball game you can’t help but be won over by their charm.
